Demon Eater
Soul is the source of life. It powers the wards and relics that keep humanity safe. Nothing can live without soul, not even demons. But since demons have no souls of their own, they come to steal yours
—Grandmaster Suzume, founder of the Black Art of demon cultivation
“In the last peaceful moment of midnight mass, the holy ardent was swinging his incense burner, blissfully unaware of the pair of molten silver eyes watching him through a grate in the floor…”
When a reaper breaks into the fortress sanctuary and slaughters every living soul inside, fifteen-year-old Aura flees to the Grand Citadel.
But inside the walls, powerful forces are wrestling for control and raising long-buried demons, eager to tear free of their cages.
To stay out of the belly of the hungry capital, Aura must feed her own inner darkness while evading the Royal Exorcists and keeping out of the holy fire. Unfortunately, her inexperience attracts the attention of the sick and twisted creatures haunting the backstreets.
Worst of all is the Demon Eater, an insatiable demon cultivator who tries to tear Aura to pieces on sight, and grows increasingly obsessed with chasing all her inner darkness out into the light.

What the author has to say
Cianne is an absolute delight to work with. She is polite, attentive and competent and is very kind in her wording of feedback. She has an incredible eye for detail, similar sounding words, grammar and spelling, and provides clear and kind notes when suggesting any changes or corrections. The errors she caught in my manuscript has been missed by everyone else reading the story. I’ve now learned when to use arch vs arc. And the demons who want to eat the main character are now calling dibs instead of dips, since she’s not a kind of salsa. This would have gone to print otherwise, so I will definitely recommend letting Cianne comb through your manuscript. She also instructed me on how to typeset my manuscript myself and which service to use. My book would not have been nearly as professional without Cianne, and I will be booking her services, if available, for all my upcoming books. Highly recommended. All the stars!
