You can send through a request for a sample prep of the first 10 pages of the manuscript and/or we have a free discovery conversation to discuss your project, what you’re looking for, and answer any questions you have about the process. It also lets us get a feel for each other and see if we’d be a good fit to work together!

Next, we choose the time frame for the prep to be completed, both sign the contract, and you pay a deposit. (multiple payment plan options available)

You submit the manuscript by the deadline specified.

I read the manuscript closely, colour-coding dialogue and emphasizing dialogue tags/direction on how a line is delivered.

I compile a comprehensive bookwork guide, including:

• Chapter-by-chapter break down which covers chapter estimated run time, content warnings, characters appearing in the chapter, and which narrators speak (for dual and multi-cast narrations)

• Fall cast (including one-off characters) list with character notes, such as accents if described

• Pronunciation guide for proper nouns, including pronunciations that need to be confirmed by the author (fantasy and sci-fi genres)

• Suggested queries for the author

I return both the marked-up manuscript and the bookwork guide, ready for you to start recording!
